Beginners Golf Lessons at Fanshawe Golf School are designed to help new golfers build confidence, understand the fundamentals, and enjoy the game from day one.
Whether you’ve never swung a club before or just want a solid foundation, this program makes learning golf simple, comfortable, and fun.
Below is everything you need to know before your lesson so you can arrive prepared and get the most out of your experience.
📍 Location
All Beginners Golf Lessons take place at Fanshawe Golf School, located at the Crumlin Creek Golf Club, 1720 Crumlin Side Road, London, Ontario.
Lessons are held outdoors from May through August at the south driving range.
When you arrive, follow the cart path toward the first hole and you’ll find our Fanshawe Golf School pavilion with our logo on it. Your instructors will meet you there.
🕒 Schedule and Duration
Beginners classes run every Tuesday evening from May through August:
- 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Each session is 60 minutes long.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to get settled, warm up, and be ready to start on time.
👥 Class Size and Instruction
Each class includes a 5:1 instructor-to-student ratio to ensure everyone gets the right amount of personal guidance.
Lessons focus on the four key fundamentals of golf, with simple, clear instruction for beginners.
Every participant receives help based on their individual skill level and pace, ensuring a comfortable learning experience.
🧰 What to Bring
- Comfortable clothing and golf or athletic shoes
- A water bottle
- Your own golf clubs (if you have them)
If you don’t have clubs, we’ll provide fitted clubs for you upon arrival at no additional cost.
☔ Make-Up Lessons
We understand that weather and schedules can change.
If it rains or you’re unable to attend a session, don’t worry — we have a flexible make-up lesson policy.
We ensure that every participant receives all four lessons in their program, regardless of cancellations or weather interruptions.
If weather is uncertain, please keep an eye on your email for updates.
